Description

The LIFe-Location Code Navigator providesunique identity for a specific location in Sri Lanka. Theapplication complements LIFe Standards which is a set of openstandards to ensure the interoperability in government informationsystems.

The Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs hasallocated an unique location code for each Province, District,Divisional Secretariat, Grama Niladhari Division and village. LIFeLocation Code Navigator keeps this information in a database toenable government departments to uniquely identify a specificlocation up to ‘Village’ level at any given time.
