本作は、立体感のあるキャラクターやフィールド、戦略性に富んだ戦闘システムをふんだんに導入したクォータービュー形式のシミュレーションＲＰＧです。
かつて、仲間だった者達に裏切られ、全ての力を失ったあげく迷宮に閉じ込められた勇者オズワルド。死に体だった彼の身体は悪しき者の策略により、魔王と共有するものに生まれ変わってしまったのでした。しかし、まだ僅かに自我を残した勇者は仲間との絆を信じ、迷宮からの脱出を図ります。『バイド（捕食）』という忌わしくも、最強の力を手にして…。

■やり込み度満載のマップ！
まずはマップ画面で行先を選択。行先のエリアでイベント画面とダンジョン画面を交互に進行させることでストーリーが進行します。ダンジョン画面でミッションを達成すれば、マップ画面で新たなエリアが出現。これを繰り返しながらプレイヤーはエンディングを目指します。
ミッションはクリアする度に増えて行き、さらに、クリアに掛かったターン数によってランク分けが行われます。ランク分けでＡ判定以上の結果を出すと、エクストラステージが出現！
さらに一度クリアしたミッションを、繰り返し遊ぶことも可能です。

■『捕食』するシミュレーションＲＰＧ！
ダンジョン画面は多彩な地形と背景で構成されたシミュレーションＲＰＧパートで構成されています。
バトルでは攻撃や魔法、スキルと言った様々なコマンドを駆使して敵を倒しましょう！
これらのコマンドは敵の力を吸収する技「バイド」を使用することで次々に変化します。また、バイドして得た能力はいつでも「魔界辞典」で確認できます。
さらに、ゲーム中の能力を全て入手すると、新たに特殊能力を入手できるコンプリート要素も！何度でもゲームを楽しむことができます。
・捕食能力「バイド」とは
敵を攻撃してHPを０にすると、敵の体を食らう「バイド」を行えます。
バイドで食らう敵の種類により、主人公達は様々な能力を手に入れることに！
バイドできる能力の数は９０種類以上です。
