Per il sesto anno consecutivo torna Il Maggiodei Libri, la campagna nazionale promossa dal Centro per il libro ela lettura del Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali e delTurismo, sotto l'Alto Patronato del Presidente dellaRepubblica.
Nato nel 2011 con l’obiettivo di ribadire il valore sociale dellalettura quale elemento chiave della crescita personale, culturale ecivile, il Maggio dei Libri è diventato un appuntamento atteso,abituale e diffuso in tutta Italia: inizia il 23 aprile, Giornatamondiale UNESCO del libro e del diritto d’autore, e si conclude il31 maggio.
Il claim istituzionale di questa edizione è Se son librifioriranno, accompagnato dagli altri messaggi e visual Se leggovivo più di 7 vite, Liberi di leggere e Il libro portaconsiglio.
Quattro slogan per diffondere in tutta la Penisola l’amore per lalettura e racchiudere il senso dell’iniziativa: leggere facrescere, nutre la mente, aiuta a far sbocciare nuove idee econsente di vivere infinite esperienze.
Il libro esce dal suo contesto abituale e dilaga sul territorio:dalle grandi città ai piccoli centri, regioni, province, comuni,scuole, biblioteche, associazioni culturali, case editrici,librerie, circoli di lettori, promuoveranno iniziative perintercettare anche persone che di solito non leggono.
Quest’anno Il Maggio dei libri suggerisce alcuni filoni chiave, chegli organizzatori che aderiscono alla campagna potranno seguirecome linee guida per le loro iniziative. Il primo è ‘Shakespeare400’, dedicato all’anniversario della morte del Bardo: ad aprile,infatti, ricorono i 400 anni dalla morte di William Shakespeare,autore di 37 opere teatrali, 154 sonetti e vari altri poemi chehanno segnato per sempre la storia della letteraturamondiale.
Il secondo riguarda la ìLibroterapia’: la lettura di libri vieneconsigliata per migliorare la conoscenza di se stessi e contribuireall’elaborazione di un malessere interiore, grazie al meccanismodell’immedesimazione nei personaggi e alla catarsi finale.
Il terzo filone è costituito dalle ‘Little free library’, quellecasette in legno che invece di essere destinate agli uccellinicustodiscono una manciata di libri in libera consultazione e chespuntano come per magia nelle strade o nei parchi per portare sulterritorio e nei luoghi di passaggio quotidiano mini bibliotechegratuite. Quest’anno approdano anche al Maggio dei libri con ilmotto “Prendi un libro, porta un libro!” e speriamo che laprimavera le faccia moltiplicare in tutta Italia.
Per il quarto filone protagoniste di sempre saranno le biblioteche(www.biblioraising.it) e le scuole, da cui ci aspettiamo lesorprese più gradite attraverso le loro diverse iniziative.
