Description

Life for pollinating insects such as bees,butterflies and moths is increasingly difficult, with many speciesnumbers in decline. We are asking you to record the insects thatvisit your garden to build our understanding of which plants aremost attractive to these insects. You will be participating in aCitizen Science project that will generate thousands of insectobservations of the plants that pollinating insects like to visit.This app enables you to:

• Record details of the pollinating insects on your chosenplants
• Plot these results to see which of your plants is the mostpopular
• Upload the data to our central database

The data you gather, along with the photos you take, will beused in a research project being undertaken by the University ofSussex. The Earthwatch Institute in association with Waitrose andThe Crown Estate is facilitating this research. So what are youwaiting for? Bee-friend your garden!
