Этот апокриф имел широкое распространение в средние века, вособенности на Руси, где стал известен под названием "ХождениеБогородицы по мукам".

В настоящем издании публикуется перевод с греческого, на котороми было написано "Откровение". Трудно определить время созданияпамятника; скорее всего, его следует относить к раннемусредневековью.

This apocryphal story was widespread in the Middle Ages,especially in Russia, where he became known as the "Journey of theVirgin of sorrows."

In this edition, published translation from the Greek, on whichwas written "Revelation". It is difficult to determine the time ofthe creation of the monument; most likely, it should be attributedto the early Middle Ages.
