Abdul Rahman Mohmand (b.1653- d.1711)(Pashto: عبدالرحمانمومند)popularly known as (Pashto: رحمان بابا) was called theNightingaleof Pakhtoonkhwa, the Pashto speaking region ofAfghanistan andPakistan. Rahman Baba is a legendary Pashto Sufipoet. His poetryplaces him alongside Khushal Khan Khattak for hiscontribution toPashto poetry and literature. This is collection ofRahman'spoetry, called the Diwan ("anthology") of Rahman Baba,contains 343poems, most of which are written in his native Pashtolanguage.
