What does Anti-Theft do?

This part of the app detects when your phone has moved beyondacertain distance that you have set. For example, let's say youareout in a restaurant/bar etc. You can set the anti-theft tobeactive if the phone moves more than say, 100 metres from whereyoucurrently are. If that happens then:

Your phone can play the default ringtone,

Your phone can play a pre-recorded message from you, (Letthethief hear from you directly!)

Your phone can be automatically 'locked',

Or, you can disable all sound in order to use the phonefinderportion of the app without notifying the thief ofincomingmessages.

Not just a pin on a map! eMail alerts (or SMS) will be senttoyour account with the last known 20 locations of the device.Theselocations are sequentially marked (A,B,C...) in order for youtosee the direction the device is headed. (We also supply thespeed,altitude and other useful info).

PHONE FINDER

A 'command line' like interface via SMS allows you toremotely(i.e from another phone):

Get the exact location of your phone. Not just a pin on amap,but where the phone has been, and where it is going. We includethespeed the device is traveling and the direction it is goingin.(Easy to see if the device is in a car!)

Play the ringtone to help you find it

Capture audio remotely. You can instruct your phone to turnonthe microphone and capture audio that will be emailed to you.

Take a picture remotely. Both cameras (if available) are usedandthe subsequent pictures are sent to you.

Get the call logs. Could be interesting in a theft scenariotofind out who the thief has called.

Get the battery status. Is it charging? If so how? AC, USB?Whatis the current battery strength?

Remotely lock the device.

If you are convinced your phone is really gone or stolen,thenyou can WIPE it. This resets the phone to the factory settings.Ifyou have sensitive data, then this is a must do!

And... with one SMS command, get everything! Location,Audio,Pictures, Battery all emailed to you.

The app even works if the phone is 'locked'.

The commands that you can use are: (We will use atp asthecommand prefix here. You can pick your own prefix).

atp login mypassword
Identifies you to the app

atp audio
Records 30 seconds of audio and emails it to you. Note: Theformatis a 3gp file which you can play using Windows MediaPlayer.

atp battery
Returns the current battery status (Shows whether the batteryischarging, plugged in via AC, or USB)

atp calls
Returns the call log.
The last 10 calls (incoming/outgoing) are emailed to you. Thiscanbe very useful if the phone is stolen. Who did the thiefcall?

atp location
Sends an eMail containg the last 20 known locations andthedirection the phone is heading. Also, an SMS is sent back withthecurrent location.

atp lock Locks the device immediately

atp logout
Logs you out

atp picture
Takes pictures from the front and back cameras and eMails themtoyou (You just might get a picture of the thief if the phoneisstolen!)

atp status
This one command will eMail you:

A 30 second Audio clip,
The call logs,
Pictures (front and back)
Battery status and,
The location

atp wipe mypassword
IF you are convinced the phone is gone forever, then use thewipecommand to reset the phone to its factory settings.

Note that you need to specify your password for this commandtowork. (It’s the same password that you used to login.)
