The Yorba Linda Vineyard began in September of2006. Sean and Christy have been in the Vineyard Movement since thebeginning, back in 1977. Each of them came from the Friends Church,a Quaker church here in Yorba Linda. People often think theVineyard Movement came from a Calvary Chapel, when in fact, we areQuakers at the root of who we are, and Vineyard roots are Quakerroots. Sean and Christy grew up next door to each other and weremarried in February of 1990. Since then, both worked for VineyardMinistries International, as well as Vineyard Music when itlaunched from VMI.

Christy directed Vineyard worship conferences and training underVMI, and then Vineyard Music when it was birthed. Christy has beentraveling for years teaching at various events through out theworld. She has 5 book releases and also works with CBN [ChristianBroadcasting Network] working with Gordon Robertson on various T.Vprogramming. They have two children, Camie Rose Wimber and JohnRichard Wimber II.
