The School Bus Tracking application enablesparents and school authorities to track real-time location of aschool bus from anywhere, anytime using RFID tags and GPS trackers.The parents and school authorities will receive notifications inthe form of SMS or android and iOS push notifications about theschool bus locations. The first notification of the day will bereceived 10 minutes prior to the bus arriving at the scheduledstop. The next notification comes just after the student boards thebus and swipes their RFID cards in the card readers installed inthe bus. Parents and school authorities can then track the route ofthe school bus on a map. Students have to swipe their RFID cardseven while getting down from the bus and then, the parents andschool authorities get notified once again. The same process isrepeated in the evening when the students travel back to theirhomes. Apart from school bus locations, parents and schoolauthorities also get notified in case of over speeding orunscheduled bus stops.
