Sukamart is operated by PT. Sumisho E-Commerce Indonesia, ajoint-venture between Sumitomo Corporation (Tokyo) and PT. SumitomoIndonesia (Jakarta). For over ten years, Sumitomo Corporation hasplayed an active role in building and expanding leading e-commercesite Soukai Drug (http://www.soukai.com) in Japan. WithIndonesia’s economy growing at a rapid clip and people becomingincreasingly busy, we felt that there must be an unmet demand fordelivery of household items, so in 2012 we decided to launch theSukamart service.
