This is a cheat guide for SNK vs Capcom. SNKvsCapcom series is a collection of video games by either Capcom orSNKfeaturing characters that appear in games created by bothcompanies.The "vs. series" terminology originates from the factthat many ofthese games (but not all) are fighting games.

As a rule, games in this series either contain SNK vs CapcomorCapcom vs. SNK, the first company denoting the company behindthegame's development. Games in this series appear forvariousplatforms, including the NAOMI (arcade), Neo-Geo(arcade),PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, NintendoDS, Xbox,Neo Geo Pocket, Neo-Geo Pocket Color, and SegaDreamcast.

SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos (エス・エヌ・ケイ バーサス カプコン エスブイシー カオス EsuEnuKei Bāsasu Kapukon Esbuishī Kaosu?) is a 2003 fightinggameproduced by Playmore (now SNK) for the Neo Geo arcade andhomeplatform. The game was ported to the PlayStation 2 and XboxinJapan and the PAL region, although only the Xbox versionwasreleased in North America.
The game is a crossover featuring characters from SNK's andCapcom'srespective fighting game properties such as The King ofFighters,Samurai Shodown, Street Fighter, and Darkstalkers. SNKvs. Capcom:SVC Chaos was the third arcade game in a series ofcrossoversbetween these two companies (see SNK vs. Capcom series)and the onlyone developed by SNK (SNK previously produced SNK vs.Capcom: TheMatch of the Millennium for the Neo Geo PocketColor).

The gameplay in SNK vs Capcom is based on the KOFseries(particularly The King of Fighters 2002), with the same fourbuttonconfiguration and many of the same techniques. However, thegamedoes not use the Team Battle format, but follows thetraditionalround-based one-on-one format. Each match begins with adialogueexchange between the player's character and the opponent.One newtechnique introduced in the game is the Front Grand Step,whichallows the player to leap towards the opponent and cancel intoabasic attack. The player can perform this technique whileguardingfrom an opponent's attack, which will consume one PowerGauge levelin SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos.
