THIS IS NOT A TAXI BOOKING APPLICATION FOR PASSENGERS. The CityTaxiDebrecen taxi application is the taxi driver’s mobile office. Theuse of the application requires a contract and registration withthe taxi company, and activation with a pairing code. Once theseconditions are met, the following features will make your dailywork easier: • The status of your fare is indicated towards theheadquarters • Fares organized in an automated, optimized way,depending on the time spent waiting at the taxi stand, or yourdistance from the passenger • Features helping your positioning:taxis waiting on the taxi stands, localization of other taxis inthe city • Automatic stand registration based on your GPScoordinate • Displaying passenger and fare information on screen •Map tracking, panic alert in case of an attack • “Where is mypassenger” function if your passenger booked through theapplication • Notification sent to the passenger (via applicationor SMS) if you have arrived at the pick up address • Text messagesfrom the headquarters • Complaint or event reporting to theheadquarters • Warning signs • Allow the app to access your phone'slocation in the background. If you do not do this, the applicationwill not proceed from the application permissions interface becausebackground access to location data is a prerequisite for properoperation.
