The Samford and Districts Rugby League Club islocated at Alan Cash oval in the heart of the picturesque SamfordVillage, 20km from the Brisbane CBD. Samford prides itself on afriendly, family-oriented atmosphere, and actively promotes andadheres to the Codes of Conduct laid down by the Queensland RugbyLeague for players, parents and supporters.

With over 200 junior players in teams from Under 6 through toUnder 16, and a well supported senior team competing in theBrisbane Rugby League Second Division, the Stags is a vibrant,growing club and a key part of the Samford community.

Samford is one of several Brisbane clubs whose juniors are partof the Norths Devils Development Program. The Norths programprovides a path through to senior football for our talentedjuniors, via the Norths Colts and senior teams in the FOGS Cup,Queensland Cup, and into the Brisbane Broncos NRL club.

During this time the club has come up with some fantastic ideasand innovative plans to ensure the strength of the club continueslong in to the future.

One of the main areas the club was looking to improve on was theway in which it was currently communicating with its players,members, supporters and sponsors.

With a forward thinking and a dynamic board the club wasactively pursuing different methods which would enable them toimprove on their existing communication channels.

After conducting a review of all the options available to themthe club is pleased to announce the release of their first evernative mobile phone app for Android.

The app will be branded in the famous colours of the Samford andDistricts Rugby League Club and the content available to users inthe app will contain information about the club.
