The Dragon Mod makes it possible to befrienddragons. A dragon can only be found by spawning it yourself with aspawner egg and once you’ve tamed one it will protect you at allcosts as a loyal friend and companion.

How to find and tame a dragon?
First off you will have to craft a Spawn Dragon Pet item. Then usethe egg to spawn the dragon. The dragon is friendly as long youdon’t attack it.
A spawned dragon will act similar to how wolves behave inMinecraft. They will bark once in a while and if you hit them theywill make a similar yelping noice as to when you attack wolves.Because they got the same behavioristics as wolves they are alsotamable. Get close to a dragon while holding some bones and tap onthe Tame button to try and tame it.

If you succeed it will help you attack mobs and defend you whennecessary. Because the textures of wolves are overriden in the modit will mean when you come across an ordinary wolf in-game it willhave the same black textures as dragons. Wolves still look likewolves except that they are now black.
