Special relativity described by AlbertEinsteinin 1905 supossed that time and space were not fixedentities.

At near-light speeds the time measured by one observerinmovement and another observer static, will be different.
The same happens with the space. Something travelling atnear-lightspeed will be seen smaller than seen by one staticobserver.
