To scan a QR code or barcode simply open the QR code readerapp,point the camera at the code, and you’re done! There is no needtotake a photo or press a button. Scan will automaticallyrecognizeany code your camera is pointing at.

When scanning a QR code, if the code contains a website URL,youwill automatically be taken to the site. If the code justcontainstext, you'll immediately see it. For other formats such asphonenumbers, email addresses, or contact info, you will beprompted totake the appropriate action.

QR Code Reader sccan recognizes all of the popular barcodetypes(UPC, EAN, and ISBN) and shows you pricing, reviews, and moreaboutany products you scan. Barcode scanning requires a newerdevice inorder to work reliably. Cameras on older devices do notprovide theresolution or focus required for barcode scanning.
