Launch the app and you’ll get the xylophoneboardquickly-no delays—so you can immediately start playing anytune youwant. The controls are what you would expect on adigitalxylophone. Tap the keys with your fingers on touchscreendevices,press the corresponding numbers on a keyboard, or justclick thecolorful keys with your mouse. You can even slide over theboard tohit consecutive keys, or use two or more controls at thesame time.The distinguishing feature of a xylophone’s sound is thesense ofprecision that comes from its lack of resonance. Xylo usessoundrecordings from a real xylophone to give you that samefeeling.There are many ways to make the xylophone fit your usecase. Bydefault, a beautiful set of rainbow colors are used. Inaddition,there’s a Boomwhacker version for those using thiscolorset. Aspecial Solfege mode is available, which replaces thepitch nameswith Solfege (Do, Re, Mi) to teach kids and studentseffectivereading and singing of music. The chromatic scale isalsoavailable, giving you access to all the flats and sharps.Don’tknow how or what to play?
