- Ever wonder what an Ingress portal would look like in reallife?

With this app you will have the ability to simulate viaaugmented reality virtual Ingress portals. (No printed markers ortrackers needed)

Instructions:
01 - Using your Ingress scanner, position your location directly intop of a portal

02 - Using this app, point the camera view downwards aiming atthe ground. Preferably at a flat surface that contains lots orirregular detail. (Use the on-screen indicator for surfacecompatibility)

03 - Once you're set up, tap the circle in the lower center ofthe screen

04 - If your shot tracks correctly, you should see simulated XMparticles begin to emerge from the ground. At this point you canmove around and explore the portal. If the portal fails to appear,please find a better surface / lighting condition and tryagain.

05 - For additional information and portal simulation options,tap the portal once it is in view.

Please note: This is an unofficial, not affiliated with NianticLabs, completely disconnected, augmented reality visual simulator.You can experience portals anywhere (real portal location is notrequired), but doing this while at a Ingress portal can be a moreengaging experience overall.

Application Permissions:
This application uses Augmented Reality (Powered by Vuforia) andrequires use of your camera and other on-board sensors. You canalso save images during your AR experiences which requires accessto your SD card.
