الحمد لله رب العالمين وصلى الله وسلم على سيدنا محمد خاتم النبيينوعلى ءاله وصحبه الطيبين وبعد فإن علماء هذه الأمة هم حماة هذا الدينالمتين، ونور الله المبين قد شيدوا من الشريعة مبانيها وسددوا معانيهاوأحكموا محكمها وأظهروا مبهمها فجزاهم الله عن الإسلام وأهله خيرًا.وهم وإن تباينت أقوالهم واختلفت آراؤهم من جهة الفروع الفقهية فقدساروا على المنهج القويم في اقتفاء النبي الكريم، فكلمتهم في أصولالدين واحدة لا يتجاوزون القرءان والحديث.
ولقد شاع في الأثر واستفاض لدى الحذاق من أهل النظر أنه لابد في كلعصر ومصر للدين من حـَمَلة، وللعلم من نقلة، لقوله تعالى: (فَلَوْلاَنَفَرَ مِن كُلِّ فِرْقَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ طَآئِفَةٌ لِّيَتَفَقَّهُواْ فِيالدِّينِ وَلِيُنذِرُواْ قَوْمَهُمْ إِذَا رَجَعُواْ إِلَيْهِمْلَعَلَّهُمْ يَحْذَرُونَ) (التوبة 122) وقوله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" لاتزال طائفة من أمتي ظاهرين على الحق حتى تقوم الساعة ". رواه البخاريومسلم.
