TV Charity is an internet broadcastingTelevision station run by CineChrist studio. As an apostolate ofthe Lebanese Maronite Missionaries, TV Charity is committed toproducing quality programs that further Christian and moral valuesand the teachings of the Catholic faith. TV Charity focuses itsefforts on religious and pastoral themes. Main show topics includetheology, bioethics, education, social issues, daily Church newsand intercultural exchange. TV Charity also offers shows forentertainment, and special programs for children and teens.Programs offered are in English and Arabic. As a ministry, TVCharity seeks to meet three main objectives.

1. Provide quality programming for a wide audience. In manyareas of the world where Televisions are sparse or costly, internetaccess can be held more easily. TV Charity, through its internetbroadcasting seeks to reach people who may not have access toregular Television, so they too can benefit from a series ofprograms that provide entertainment, education, and formation inthe Christian faith.

2. Respond to the Church’s continual call for ecumenism. TVCharity reaches out to an audience of Christians in the Middle Eastand around the world. It enables Lebanese and other Middle EasternChristians who have migrated to different countries to stay incontact with their faith and culture. It’s programs offerreligious, educational, and cultural information, opportunities,and insights valuable for all Christians, and for those who want tounderstand the Catholic faith and its place in daily life more.

3. Foster an active and interactive relationship with itsviewers. TV Charity uses internet as a means of broadcastingbecause it allows for instant feedback and communication fromviewers. TV Charity encourages those watching its programs to loginwith questions and comments, this fostering an active discussionand enabling TV Charity to best meet the needs of its viewers.
