Citizen Next, a Microsoft Garage project, is a“technology for good” solution which is designed to help citizensconnect to municipalities easily and effectively, to report issuesor civic infrastructure concerns. The app aims to bring the powerof ubiquitous mobile computing, Bing Maps and Bing’s locationunderstanding services together with relevant and availablegovernment online services to make our cities and towns a betterplace to live in, which can be accomplished with your help!

For example, take a picture of the pothole you seen on the roadthat is causing a traffic jam, or garbage you see on the road andpost the concern to civic authorities. You can easily set thelocation of the problem on the map, even if you don't know theexact address. Your issues and your personal information may besent to civic authorities who may follow-up. Microsoft will not beresponding to or resolving any of the issues, other than passingthem along to civic authorities that participate in the app. 

In the current version, only Greater Hyderabad MunicipalCorporation(GHMC) in India is supported.
