The journalwasbrain child of Chawla’s and its success led to flood of journalsonthe subject and cheap imitations all over India. This wasthetrigger that led to publications of several journals ondifferentsubject like Service Labour, food adulteration, HinduLaw,Arbitration etc.

Again Chawla Publications was first among law book publishersofIndia to step into cyber space with launchof“supremecourtonline.com” as early as 1997 when internetrevolutionhad just began not to mention that the idea was imitatedby severalpublishers all over India. The event made a big news infrontlinenational media at that time when official website ofsupreme courtwas not even on drawing board.

Chawla Publications Launched its first e-publication in 1998with“Dishonour of Cheques – Total Cases” on Compact Disc, againflood ofimitations followed.

Taking its e-Publications venture to its logical limitsChawlaPublications developed Law Finder search engine speciallytailormade for legal text in the year 2000 and launched severalsoftwarecontaining full text to cases decided by Supreme Court ofIndia andHigh Courts.
