L’Agence Congolaise de Presse (ACP), créée le 12 août 1960,apour missions de :

1. Rechercher tant en République Démocratique du Congo (RDCongo)qu’à l’étranger les éléments d’une information exacte etobjective àmettre, contre paiement, à la disposition des usagers;
2. Etudier et mettre en œuvre les programmes ou lesmoyensd’information par écrit et par l’image susceptibles de servirlecrédit international de la RD Congo ;
3. Assurer l’existence d’un réseau d’établissement lui conférantlecaractère d’un organisme d’information à rayonnementmondial;
4. S’attacher particulièrement à promouvoir le développement dupaysau moyen des informations qu’elle diffuse ;
5. Tenir compte, dans la diffusion de ses informations, delamission d’éducation de masse qui lui incombe à l’égarddespopulations congolaises.

The Congolese Press Agency (ACP), founded August 12, 1960,hasthe following tasks:

1. Search as the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo)andabroad elements of information to be accurate andobjective,against payment, available to users;
2. Study and implement programs or media writing and image mayserveinternational credit in DR Congo;
3. Ensure the existence of a network of institution that confersanews organization to global radiation;
4. Pay particular attention to promoting the development ofthecountry through the information it disseminates;
5. Take into account the distribution of its information,themission of mass education which rests against theCongolesepeople.
