আসসালামুআলাইকুম। আশা করি সৃষ্টিকর্তাআল্লাহরাব্বুল আলামীনের দয়ায় সবাই ভালো আছেন। আমিও আলহামদুলিল্লাহভালোআছি।
আজকের আলোচনা হলো মুসলিম বিজ্ঞনীদেরকে নিয়ে। বর্তমান সময়ে আমরাঅনেকইহয়তো মনে করে থাকি যে এই পৃথিবীর যা কিছু আবিষ্কার হয়েছে বাহচ্ছেতার সবই করেছে ইহুদী, খ্রিস্টান ও অন্যান্য ধর্মাবলম্বীরলোকেরা।কিন্তু এই ধারনা সম্পূর্ন ভূল। কারন মুসলিম বিজ্ঞনীরা যখনআকাশ নিয়েচিন্তা করেছিল তখন ইংল্যান্ড, আমেরিকার মত উন্নত এবংবিজ্ঞান প্রযুক্তিনির্ভর দেশগুলোর আবিষ্কার হয়নি।
আসলে বর্তমানে আমরা যারা আছি, এই বিষয়গুলো না জানার জন্যে কারোপ্রতিদোষ দিয়ে লাভ নাই। মিডিয়ার মাধ্যমে আমরা যা দেখছি তাতেশুধুঅমুসলিমদের আবিষ্কারই দেখি, আর অন্যদিকে মনে করি মুসলমানরা বুঝিকখনোএগুলি নিয়ে চিন্তাও করেনি।
বর্তমান জ্ঞান-বিজ্ঞানের আবিষ্কারে মুসলিম জাতির ব্যাপকসংশ্লিষ্টতাখুঁজে পাওয়া না যাওয়ার কারণে মুসলিম যুবক তরুণরা এক ধরণেরহীনমন্যতায়ভোগেন, যারা ইতিহাস জানেন তারা বিচ্ছিন্ন ভাবে আমাদেরসোনালী দিনগুলোরজ্ঞান-বিজ্ঞানের অবদানের কথা উল্লেখ করে থাকেন।বিস্তারিত ভাবে উল্লেখনা করে কেউ যখন দাবি করে বসেন – আমাদের জ্ঞানবিজ্ঞানের ১০০০ বছরেরঅবদান আছে তখন অনেকেই জানতে চান সেই ১ হাজারবছরের মুসলিমদেরবিজ্ঞানের কোন্‌ কোন্‌ ক্ষেত্রে অবদান ছিলো?

আমার এই এপটি সেই প্রশ্নের জবাবে তৈরির সূচনা করছি। আশাকরিআপনারাযারা মুসলিমদের জ্ঞান-বিজ্ঞানে অতীতে এবং বর্তমানে যে সকলঅবদানের কথাজানেন তা সংযোজন করতে এগিয়ে আসবেন। সবার সম্মিলিত সংগ্রহেএই ব্লগটিসদালাপে আর্কাইভ হয়ে থাকলে ভবিষ্যতে যারা এই ব্লগটি পড়বেতাদের মধ্যেহীনমন্যতা কাজ না করে ভবিষ্যতকে নতুন করে বিনির্মাণ করতেসচেষ্ট হবেবলে আমার বিশ্বাস। আমার বা অন্য কারো তথ্যগত ভুল থাকলে তাওসংশোধনকরতে এগিয়ে আসবেন বলে আশা রাখছি।

ইসলামী সভ্যতা যে বিশ্বের উন্নতির সর্বক্ষেত্রে সৃজনশীলতাওআবিষ্কারের জনক, তা এক ঐতিহাসিক সত্য।
