Description

O Campeonato Potiguar de Futebol de 2017, é a97ª edição do campeonato estadual de futebol do Rio Grande doNorte. A competição dará vagas à Copa do Brasil de 2018, à Copa doNordeste de 2018, e à Série D do Campeonato Brasileiro de 2018.

O Campeonato Potiguar de 2017 começará no 15 de janeiro a 30 deabril de 2017, e contará com oito clubes.

O primeiro turno, "Copa Cidade do Natal" será disputado portodas as equipes com jogo de ida em sete rodadas.

Ao final,as melhores colocadas (1º e 2° lugar),disputarão otítulo em duas partidas, a equipe vencedora,será declarada Campeãda Copa Cidade do Natal.

O Segundo turno, "Copa RN" será disputado por todas as equipesem em jogos de volta, composto de sete rodadas. A equipe vencedora,será declarada Campeã da Copa RN.

A decisão do campeonato estadual será disputada em duaspartidas, pelo sistema de ida e volta. Em caso de a mesma equipevencer as (Copa Cidade do Natal e Copa RN), será declarado CampeãoEstadual de 2017.

The 2017 Soccer PotiguarChampionship is the 97th edition of the state football championshipof Rio Grande do Norte. The competition will give jobs to the 2018Brazil Cup, the 2018 Northeast Cup and Brazilian ChampionshipSeries D 2018.

The 2017 Potiguar Championship will begin on January 15 to April30, 2017, and will feature eight clubs.

The first round, "Copa Christmas City" will be played by allteams with the first leg in seven rounds.

At the end, the best placed (1st and 2nd place), will disputethe title in two matches, the winning team will be declaredChampion Christmas City Cup.

The second part, "RN Cup" will be played by all teams in gamesback, composed of seven rounds. The winning team will be declaredchampion of RN Cup.

The decision of the state tournament will be played in twomatches, the round-trip system. If the same team wins the(Christmas City Cup and Copa RN), will be declared State Champion2017.
