O Campeonato Alagoano de Futebol de 2017 seráa 87º edição do campeonato profissional de clubes de futebol doestado de Alagoas. Os três primeiros colocados disputarão a Copa doBrasil de Futebol de 2018.
A competição com 10 (dez) participantes terá início em janeiro etérmino previsto para maio de 2017. O Campeonato Alagoano 2017 serádisputado em cinco fases distintas, a saber: Primeira Fase,Hexagonal, Fase Semifinal, Fase Final.
As equipes jogam em sistema de ida e volta, em que os integrantesdo Grupo A enfrentam os integrantes do Grupo B, perfazendo um totalde 10 (dez) jogos para cada. Ao final da Primeira Fase, asEntidades de Prática classificadas nos três primeiros lugares decada grupo, estarão classificadas para a Segunda Fase do CampeonatoAlagoano 2017, denominada Hexagonal.
No Hexagonal, as seis equipes classificadas na Primeira Fase,formam um único grupo e se enfrentam em jogos somente de ida,perfazendo um total de 5 (cinco) jogos para cada. Ao final doHexagonal, as equipes classificadas nos quatro primeiros lugaresestarão classificadas para a Fase Semifinal do Campeonato Alagoano2017.
Na Fase Final, as equipes vencedoras do confronto Semifinal seenfrentarão, em jogos de ida e volta.
À equipe vencedora da Fase Final do Campeonato Alagoano 2017 seráatribuído o título de Campeão Alagoano 2017.

The 2017 Soccer AlagoanoChampionship will be the 87th edition of the professional leaguefootball clubs in the state of Alagoas. The top three finisherswill compete in the Brazil Soccer Cup 2018.

In the Hexagonal, the six teams ranked in the first phase, form asingle group and face off in games of one-way, for a total of five(5) games for each. At the end of the Hexagonal, the teams rankedin the top four will be qualified for the Semifinal Round of theChampionship Alagoano 2017.
In the Finals, the winning teams of the semifinal clash will facein round games and back.
In the team winning the Finals Alagoano Championship 2017 will beawarded the title of Champion Alagoano 2017.
