Welcome to my strategy Cheats for King of Fighters 98. I'vealwayswanted to get my thoughts
about KOF (figuratively) on paper but never got around to it.IMO,what makes
KOF better than Capcom fighters is that there are so many waystoplay the
characters and there are always new strategies to findandexperiment with. I am
far from being an expert at KOF and would consider myselfanintermediate
player. Nevertheless, I have access to a neo geo and playalmostevery
character. It is my hope that this guide will help some of yougetmore from king of fighters free games
and encourage the use of more characters. (hey, that's whattheroulette is for)
KOF 98 has two systems to choose from, Advanced and Extra.Thosecoming from Capcom vs. SNK 2 background, for example, shouldbefamiliar with the "Groove Systems" that Capcom vs. SNK 2 has.TheAdvanced and Extra systems reflect the ability to choosesubsystemmechanics akin to Capcom vs. SNK 2 and are quitecomparable to "NGroove" and "S Groove" respectively. Advanced isgenerally the bestsystem to choose in this iteration of KOF 98 withExtra mode onlygiving some benefits to particular characters forvery specificreasons.
