Produced by the Illinois Theatre Association (http://www.illinoistheatre.org/), theIllinoisHigh School Theatre Festival is the largest andoldestnon-competitive high school theatre festival in theworld.

The three-day Festival takes place every year in earlyJanuary,and switches locations between the University of IllinoisatUrbana-Champaign and Illinois State University. Over4,000students, teachers, university representatives, exhibitors,andvolunteers come together to put on over 25 different highschoolproductions and over 150 workshops.

Other highlights include college/university auditions forhighschool seniors, professional development for teachers andtheAll-State Production, featuring student cast, crew, andorchestramembers from across the state.
