Panduan Kurikulum 2013 segera akan diberlakukan kembali. Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan telahmelucurkan hasil revisi Kurikulum 2013 untuk diterapkan di tahun2016/2017

Kurikulum 2013 (K-13) adalah kurikulum yang ditetapkan pemerintahmenggantikan kurikulum 2016 (KTSP). Kurikulum 2013 memiliki aspekpenilaian, yaitu aspek pengetahuan, aspek keterampilan, aspeksikap, dan aspek perilaku.

Terdapat lima poin hasil revisi diantaranya
1. Meningkatkan hubungan atau keterkaitan antara kompetensi inti(KI) dan kompetensi dasar (KD).
2. Penyederhanaan aspek penilaian siswa oleh guru.
3. Proses berfikir siswa tidak dibatasi. Yang sebelumnya anak SDsampai tahap memahami, SMP menganalisa dan SMA mencipta, padarevisi kali ini anak SD memungkinkan berfikir sampai tahapmencipta, tentunya dengan kadar kemampuan sesuai usianya.
4. Teori 5M (Mengingat, memahami, menerapkan, menganalisis, danmencipta) tidak sebatas menjadi teori saja. Tetapi, guru dituntutuntuk benar-benar menerapkan dalam pembelajaran.
5. Struktur mata pelajaran dan lama belajar disekolah diubah.
