“Pocket Fabriano” is the newsmartphoneapplication that provides citizens and touristsupdatedinformations about activities and attractions of the townofFabriano and its territory. The app – available for iPhoneandAndroid smartphones- includes maps, deepening cards aboutthecultural heritage (historic buildings, museums, monasteries,etc..)and utilities (accommodations, transports etc...) inthemunicipality and in the territory, in addition to updated newsonactivities and events. While walking with the smartphone inyourpocket, a warning system alert you when you are close to apoint ofinterest: previously you have to activate the GPS functionon yourmobile. Just take the phone and open the deepening card ofthereported point of interest. You can read, for example, thehistoryof the monument or the museum, opening days and hours,address,contacts and website, as well as listen to audio files orwatchdeepening videos in the card. Thanks to this application,themunicipality of Fabriano offers to tourists and its citizens a360° view of the town and its area, providing informationsanddeepenings about all the typical places and the points ofpublicinterest, accommodations, restaurants, and many morehelpfulinformations.
