فنان سعودي يُطلق عليه لقب “فنان العرب”،اسمهبالكامل “محمد عبده عثمان مرزوق آل دهل العسيري”، ولد عام 1948مفيقرية الدرب الواقعة جنوب المملكة العربية السعودية.ذاق “محمدعبده”مرارة اليتم صغيراً حيث رحل عنه والده وهو في السادسة من عمره،ثم خاضرحلة الفقر حتى إنه عاش فترة هو وشقيقه في رباط خيري بمنحة منالملك“فيصل بن عبد العزيز”.تخرج “محمد عبده” من المعهد الصناعي عام1963موتخصص في صناعة السفن في محاوله لتحقيق حلمه القديم بأن يصبحبحاراًمثل والده، إلا أن ولعه بالفن والغناء أخذه إلى بحر النغمليحققنجاحات متوالية في الفن ويحصل على العديد من الجوائزالفنية.تزوجالفنان “محمد عبده” لمدة 26 عاماً أنجب خلالها سبعة أبناءهم “نوره -ود - هيفاء - ريم - عبد الرحمن - بدر – دلال”، ولكن انتهىذلك الزواجبالانفصال ليتزوج مرة أخرى عقب 11 عاماً من الانفصال بفتاةفرنسية منأصول جزائرية.بدأ فنان العرب “محمد عبده” رحلته الفنيةمبكراً وهو لايزال طالباً في المعهد الصناعي، بعد أن اكتشفه “عباسفائق غزاوي”عندما غنى في البرنامج الإذاعي “بابا عباس” عام 1960م، ثمسافر إلىبيروت وهناك تعرف على الملحن السوري “محمد محسن” الذي قدمه فيأغنية“خاصمت عيني من سنين” ليغني محمد عبده لأول مرة أغنية خاصة بهبعد أنغنى الكثير من أغاني من سبقوه.عقب عوده “محمد عبده” إلى أرضالوطناقتحم عالم الغناء بقوة حيث تعرف على العديد من الشعراءوالملحنينأمثال “إبراهيم خفاجي - طارق عبد الحكيم - ناصر بن جريد”،وقدم الكثيرمن الأغنيات المتميزة منها أغنية “سكة التايهين” عام1966م، إلا أنشعوره بالحاجة إلى التلحين لنفسه جعله يقوم بدراسةالموسيقى التيأصقلت موهبته.كانت أول أغنية من تلحينه هي “خلاص ضاعتأمانينا.. مدامالحلو ناسينا” التي قدمها على العود والإيقاع بدون أيتوزيع موسيقي،وكان نجاح هذا اللحن تشجيعاً له على خوض التلحين الذاتيخاصة بعد أنجاء نجاحه الأول من خلال ألحانه، ليشارك بعد ذلك في الكثيرمن الحفلاتوالمهرجانات العربية.إلا أنه توقف عن الغناء في الحفلاتلمدة ثمانسنوات، كما توقف عن إصدار الألبومات الجديدة، ولكن أزمةالخليج أجبرتهعلى الرجوع مرة أخرى من خلال شريط بعنوان “هل التوحيد”،تاركاً بذلكالأغاني العاطفية ليتجه إلى الأغاني الوطنية مع الامتناععن الغناء فيالحفلات، وعدم تقديم الجديد سوى الخاص بالأغاني الشعبيةالتي قامبالتجهيز لها قبل فترة التوقف الذي استمر منذ عام 1989م إلى1997م.منأبرز الألبومات التي قدمها الفنان “محمد عبده” :”وهم”و”العقد” و”يامرحبا يا معنّى” و”أرفض المسافة” و”أنشودة المطر”و”حبيبتي” و”ياالسعودي يا بطل” و”وين أحب الليلة” و”دعاني الشوق”و”جديد سعود بن عبدالله” و”مجموعة إنسان” و”يماني حجاز” و”يمانيخليجي” و”بنت النور”و”مذهله” و”فوق هام السحب” و”كوكب الأرض” و”عيونالليل” و”يا ناعسالجفن” و”أفراح العروس” و”ارفع ستار الخجل” و”الرمشالطويل” و”ملحمةأسود الجزيرة” و”مساء الخير” و”لنا الله”.نال الفنانالسعودي خلالمشواره الفني العديد من الجوائز و الأوسمة حيث حصل عليوسام وميداليةالاستحقاق من الدرجة الثانية لخادم الحرمين الشريفين،ووسام بورقيبةللثقافة من الدرجة الثانية عام 1982م، كما أطلق عليهالرئيس التونسي“الحبيب بورقيبة” لقب “فنان العرب”.
