Late one Christmas Eve night, as the moonshone across cresting waves, a tiny little penguin stirred in hissleep. Bingui was dreaming again. "What do you want for Christmas,Bingui my little penguin?" Santa asked.

“Christmas Candy Canes,” Bingui murmured. Suddenly he popped up,awake and hungry- just as he did every morning. His empty stomachwould not allow him to sleep any longer. He lifted his clear, highvoice and declared, “I want a snack!”

But Bingui couldn’t shake his dream of Santa and those wonderfulChristmas Candy Canes! In fact, he imagined he could still see themon the horizon ahead. “Are those real?!” He exclaimed.

Oh yes, they were real- and they were everywhere! ChristmasCandy Canes as far as the eye could see! “I can’t believe it,”Bingui said to himself. “I must still be dreaming.” No sooner hadthose words left his beak, then huge snowballs appeared- honed inand hurling towards him. “Why are you trying to keep me from myChristmas Candy Canes?!.” But it was too late now, Bingui’s mindwas set… “Dream or no dream, it’s Christmas and I'm ready to get mycandy canes.
