The RTIA BD has been developed with a view tomake the Right to Information Act (RTIA) 2009 of Bangladeshdigitally readable on any Android devices. Now you can access theRTIA 2009 anywhere by your mobile.

The official statement of the RTI (Right to Information)Act-2009 is to make provisions for ensuring free flow ofinformation and the people's RTI. Right to Information Act allowindividuals and groups to understand the policies and activities ofthe government as a sign of the growing recognition of theimportance of the citizen's access to information for strengtheningdemocracy, promoting human rights and good governance.

The RTI Act has 8 chapters and 37 articles. The Article 7 underSection 2 provides the list of exemptions in regard to releasinginformation and which is mostly in line with the Article 39 (2) ofthe constitution of Bangladesh.
