Unlike conventionalflower arrangements, which emphasizes the color and bloom ofdifferent flowers set in a vase, ikebana pays attention to theoverall line and form of all plant material used and emphasizesminimalism and asymmetry. Ikebana also reveres the sacredrelationship between man and nature with the flower arrangementusually practiced in a silent and meditative state. Flowerarranging is fun, is a creative hobby and past time, but as witheverything in life, has it done and did not.
