Zara Maria Larsson (pronounced [²sɑːrama²riː.aˈlɑːʂɔn]; born 16 December 1997) is a Swedish singer andsongwriter.She first gained national fame for winning the 2008season of thetalent show Talang, the Swedish version of GotTalent, at the age of10. Larsson signed with the record label TENMusic Group in 2012 andreleased her debut EP album, Introducing,in January 2013. Thesingle "Uncover" topped the charts in Sweden,Denmark, and Norway.By February 2013, "Uncover" was certifiedplatinum by UniversalMusic Sweden.[1] In July 2013, Introducingwas certified tripleplatinum in the country.[2] Larsson alsosigned a three-yearcontract with Epic Records in the United Statesin April 2013.[3]She performed at the opening and closingceremonies in France forUEFA Euro 2016.
