Description

Cooling Time Calculator is a tool to calculatethe time required for the molten plastic inside the mold to cooland solidify. Insufficient cooling time may result in a variety ofpart defects.
The Theoretical Cooling Time is calculated from the ThermodynamicProperties of the plastic (such as the thermal diffusivity) and theMaximum Wall Thickness of the part.
However, a Correction Factor is calculated to be applied to accountfor how the mold geometry and cooling lines affect heat flow.
