Grace Slavic Baptist church city Lakewood, WA,was organized in the summer of 2000, with immigrants from differentcountries of the former Soviet Union. The vast majority are fromthe Republic of Moldova. Pastor was at the time, Leonid S. Padurar.Since infancy, the church did not have its own building, rent wasin the American church. To work effectively in the field of God, weneed workers, and the local church elected the deacon brotherVyacheslav Burlak. Then joined the ranks of deacons: AnatolySherbatiy and Sergei Keptya. In autumn 2004, the acquisition was ablessing of the church building. The Lord then joined the ranks ofthree other deacons, brothers Vadim Burlak, Andrei Skripnik andVictor Legkun. The local church fulfilling the Great Commission,experienced many blessings. And another blessing was ordainedministers next. Andrew Skripnik was ordained pastor, and SergeiFrunze, Lillian Sochirca and Lillian Kukosh on diaconal ministry.Thank the Lord, and the Holy Spirit who do ministry in the localchurch using various ministers and separately every member of theChurch to spread the Gospel.
