Conflicts: American Revolutionary War is aturn based strategy game set on the American East Coast.

You are in command of the ragtag US armies during the AmericanRevolutionary War 1775-1783. The object of the game is to fight offBritish forces and control enough cities to be able to claimindependence. Events threatening the Colonies include raids byIroquois warriors, uprisings by royalist units, and Hessians andBritish forces landing on your shores.

Cities provide supply to units, while Plantations provide Goldwhich is needed for various purchases. New militia units can beformed from Minutemen locations still at your control. Anyattacking unit needs to be located nearby a movable Ammo Depot,which can be created from Armories.

In order to be a victorious general, you must learn to coordinateyour attacks in two ways. First, as adjacent units give support toan attacking unit, keep your units in groups in order to gain localsuperiority. Secondly, it is rarely the best idea to use bruteforce when it is possible to encircle the enemy and cut off itssupply lines instead.
