Conflicts: Ardennes Offensive 1944 is a turnbased strategy game set on the Western Front during the SecondWorld War, essentially offering the German side of the Battle ofBulge.
The historical battle took place in December 1944 in Ardennes,Belgium, where American forces fought against a large Germanoffensive. It was the largest land battle of World War II in whichthe United States directly participated.
In the game, you are in control of the German armed forces and yourmain task is to reach Brussels, which would open to you a route tothe strategic port city of Antwerp. This would essentially splitthe Allies in two, hopefully causing enough political tensions toforce the Allies to sign a peace treaty.
The game is over if:
+ Germans reach over 180 Victory Points, or
+ Germans control less than 10 Victory Points.
