SrirangamSrinivasa Rao was the first true modern Telugu poet to write aboutcontemporary issues that affected day-to-day life of a common manin a style which was not used in classical Telugu poetry. Sri Sriwas a screenwriter for several Telugu films. He was one of the bestfilm songwriters in India, he has penned lyrics for over 1000soundtracks in Telugu.
