The MotorCo Guide to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom application isarelative location and semi-virtual based guide to theamusementpark in Vallejo, CA (outside of San Francisco). The freeversion ofthe app has ads, but no registration or sharing oflocation. Theapp calculates the users distance to all of theattractions in thepark, and sorts them from closest to furthest sothe user knowsexactly what is around and which rides are nearby.This allows theuser to triangulate their distance and make betterdecisions andoptimize your time. Each attraction also has adetaileddescription, a live Google map that will take the user tothelocation, as well as a YouTube video or VR simulation thatshowsthe user exactly what the ride is like, so you can simulatewhatthe ride is like before you go on it. For the rides, we findvideoscan be more informative. I.e., we could show you the landingof theJoker, but its not the same as watching the ride from starttofinish. This way you know what you are getting yourself into.Therestaurants are in the app as well and the app works onthewearable.
