IntimateMuslimah was created as a way for Muslims, both men and women topurchase lingerie and other intimate items without being bombardedwith indecent photographs of women and men. Such images revealparts of the body that Allah has commanded us to cover. Not only isit a sin to not cover, it is also a sin to look at these picturesof models in lingerie/underwear. We also wanted to create a way forhusbands and wives to purchase items to enhance their intimaterelations without having to commit sins. A husband should be ableto purchase an item for relations with his wife without having tosee other women nearly naked. Some of our lingerie items areparticularly erotic and being shown on a model is as close to apornographic magazine image as one can get. By removing thesemodels from the photos and by not using mannequins at all we havecreated a site where you can see what the item looks like withouthaving to see it on a model.
