The Institute for Industry – EducationCollaboration (IIEC) is a means for McNeese State University toaccomplish its mission by providing a framework for organizing andexpanding its existing industry – university collaborations to“enhance economic development and cultural growth in the SouthwestLouisiana region and beyond.” As the liaison between industry andhigher education, the IIEC seeks to establish relationships with astrong emphasis on economic development.
