Our puja is situated near the house of thegreat reformer and educationist Raja Ram Mohan Roy. The land onwhich our puja is being celebrated from the past 70 years belongedto this great personality .Our puja began in the year 1943 by theten elder member of this locality. The objective behind thestarting of this puja was to give the world the message of peaceand the well being of our motherland ‘India’ . Since then this pujahas been celebrated with great pomp and show and by the grace ofgoddess Durga and the blessings of our ancestors this puja has beena grand success and has completed its 73 glorious years.
