Josco started its operations under the twomain brands of footwear Fischer and Miami Cushion. Fischer andMiami Cushion were pioneers in rubber flip flops and took topposition in the South Indian market thanks to high quality,comfort, durability and reasonable price.

Josco’s endeavor has always been to adhere to high quality, fromthe stage of raw material procurement to final stage of packing anddispatching. The recognition for high quality standards came in1997, the Silver Jubilee year when Josco won the InternationalBusiness Excellence award Though the main business has been inrubber foot wear, Josco expanded its footwear business intomanufacturing of PVC, PU, EVA and Stuck On footwear over the years.New factories were set up in Kerala and Pondicherry. They servemarkets like South India and the Middle East.

In 2000, Josco started a premium brand of footwear named Methyz(Methiyadi) with unique design registered in India and severalinternational markets. It was an instant hit with the youth ofcountries like India, Australia, Spain, Portugal, France, Japan,Italy, North America, Israel etc. As part of business expansion,Josco ventured into direct distribution of footwear, having depotsin several parts of Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka., servingclose to 10,000 footwear retail outlets. With its brand, Methyz,Josco forayed into the retail sector. The Methiyadi Stop is aninnovative retail concept introduced by Josco in 2010 to sell theunique Methyz brand of footwear.
