May is the Month of Mary for Catholics.Traditionally, the May has been dedicated to the Celebration anddevotions of Mary, Jesus’ Mother. Throughout the history of theChurch, various Popes have instituted and expanded the celebrationsdedicated to Mary this month including laying of flowers andcrowning of statues.

This app is designed as a 31 day devotional to last the entiremonth of May dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Each day has a differentprayer or task that hopefully can bring us all closer to Jesus.

I found this devotional while reading the Catholic Handbook ofPrayers and decided to turn it into an app in honor of Mary as myway of giving back to her and the Church.

The task and prayers came directly from the Catholic Handbook ofPrayers and range from extra rosary mysteries, a few more HailMary's, or abstaining from complaining. It is a fascinating anddifferent way to honor Mary.
