History Of Akel's Deli:

The first Akel’s Delicatessen opened in Merrick, New York in1973 by three brothers (Ishak, Sami, And Marwan) who came toAmerica with a dream to have a family restaurant. As the yearspast, the brother’s moved south and opened their first Jacksonvillelocation in 1988. Today, sons and daughters along with extendedfamily have continued with the “Akel Tradition” of quality food andgreat service.

Our Menu is designed for you to substitute or add additionalitems to make a unique sandwich, sub or wrap that you would enjoy.So come in and be creative, or just have one of our specialtysandwiches that is sure to knock your socks off! We’re pretty sureit will be to your satisfaction.
