Pua Explorer is designed to digitallybringforth the woven pua motifs that are geometrically stylizedwithinthe design patterns of the Pua Kumbu. These motifs form thestoriesassociated with the textile and are mostly nature-based.Themorphing transition is embedded in the device and displayedthroughimage-recognition programming. The interface adds a sketchesontoeach motif as the visitor slide over them. Then by tappingthemotif, it’s morphs into the object it is referencing. Thevisitoris inside, with the pua, the information space is sharedandlayered on to the physical artefact.
