Aubrey Drake Graham ( born October 24, 1986 ,age 29 years ) , is a Canadian recording artist and actor . It wasoriginally known to play a character Jimmy Brooks on the televisionseries Degrassi : The Next Generation .
In June 2009 Graham signed a recording contract with Lil Wayne'sYoung Money Entertainment. In November 2009 , Lil Wayne released astatement announcing that the first studio album , Thank Me Later ,had been completed . The album was released on June 15, 2010 , anddebuted at number one on the Billboard 200 .
