AnthroCal is a child growth assessment app which calculates theZ-scores for child growth parameters which includes weight-for-age,Height-for-age, BMI-for-age, Weight-for-length, Headcircumference-for-age, arm circumference-for-age, tricepsskinfold-for-age and subscapular skinfold-for-age. We haveincorporated the WHO growth charts 2007 for 0-5 and 5-18 yearschildren in the single app along with revised IAP growth charts2015 (Khadilkar et al) for Indian Children. This combination makesAnthroCal a 3 in 1 app for child growth assessment. Clinicians andparents can use AnthroCal app for the child growth assessment.Clinicians while being in clinic can save time as AnthroCalpresents an integrated solution, switching between the apps toassess the results is time consuming. AnthroCal also save theresults and at the same time have the feature to share the results,therefore the parents could send the summaries to the doctor forfurther evaluation. We have introduced plotting feature which willenable users to graphically compare z-scores on standard growthcharts.
